"Being recognized as a Pacemaker Yearbook, one of only three in the nation, is an incredible honor for the IBIS. This recognition reflects the dedication, creativity, and commitment of our entire team. I am deeply proud of our staff and grateful for the support we’ve received along the way. For my first edition as Editor-in-Chief to earn this distinction means the world to me, and I couldn’t be prouder of IBIS 2025. The IBIS has consistently upheld an incredibly high standard of excellency for our work. Year after year, we pus ourselves to come up with unique ideas to revamp content and make each edition unique. For the Centennial Edition of the IBIS, celebrating 100 years of the University of Miami, we took a deep dive into the history of the University, and tied the theme of past, present and future throughout the book. We explored the change of photographs and publications from black and white to full color, as represented a multitude of times in the book, from the cover all the way to the index. Our attention to detail and commitment to making content unique to our campus is what sets the IBIS apart, and what I believe leads us to be consistently recognized as one of the most outstanding collegiate publications in the country."
